Felburg
The Southern Frontier
A sleepy Nordic farming village, Felburg is nestled along the Tusk River, a vital water source and transportation for the villagers. On the frontier of the southern border of Kjarra, the village faces the cold marshlands and the Orcish plains. The Orcish plains, while a constant threat due to the conflict with the Orcish tribes, also provide grazing land for the village's livestock. The Tusk River, on the other hand, supports the village's agricultural activities and serves as a trade route. Years of conflict with the Orcs have left the village depopulated and, according to some, abandoned by the High King. By farming hardy crops such as potatoes, barley, and oats and animal husbandry consisting primarily of sheep, cattle, and horses, the Northmen endure the harsh winters and unforgiving surroundings without much luxury. In addition to farming, the village is known for its breweries, which remain prominent despite the lingering effects of recent raids.
