Personal history

Terius joined the Cyrdian army before Ogri and Kafria were conquered. At the time, the northern mountains posed a serious obstacle to the empire's expansion further north. Tertius became a distinguished warrior in his company during the journey through those mountains, with his most standout achievement being his single-handed defeat of a mighty bear during the journey. While repeating the feat would be trivial for him now, he still identifies strongly with that act, and the desolate cold of his time in the mountains.

He fought during the conquest of Ogri, and was killed in an ambush. His notable achievements granted him the honor of being reanimated as a graveknight, and he has continued his service in the northern parts of the empire since. His current rank is Marshal.

Motivation

Like many of the lower-ranked undead in the Cyrdian Army, Tertius hopes to earn a promotion. While his accomplishments were exceptional in life, the army's undead members were all reanimated for similarly impressive achievements, and so competition is fierce.

Personality Quirks

Despite his undeath, Tertius continues to smoke, and almost always has cigars with him.

Wealth & Financial state

As a marshal, Tertius receives a relatively high pay. Apart from buying expensive cigars, however, he has little use for it, and so often uses it to reward his troops for standout behavior.
