Founding

In order to gain a solid foothold in Maletsok, the Ethelan pushed north from the Veshata Bay into the Northern Wetlands, where the terrain was more difficult for Confederate soldiers to traverse. Where the Allameai River emptied into the sea, the Ethelan built their first settlement, Lafallameaivet. This spot was chosen for the deep and calm waters of the bay, the large width of the river, and the vast swamp of the delta where the river met the sea, which acted as a natural defense for the settlement.
