Condados (con-DAH-dohs)

The Condados are the subdivisions of the Pelozerian territory in Maletsok. Each Condado is operated by a capital, typically in the centre of the land, wherein the Casas de Renion, or Gathering Houses are found. Unlike many other peoples, especially in Maletsok, the Pelozerians do not maintain strong central authority, and view their leaders more like caretakers. As such, these Casas de Reniao are less like a palace and more like a community hall where issues are raised and discussed by interested parties, and ultimately settled by an appointed person, typically a halfling elder.
