Aethan

Aethan, also called The Radiance and The Alworthy, is one of two all-powerful deities of Aethanism, and the positive force behind the Great Duality (see the Polasenok). His power and authority is only matched by his rival and opposite Aefan, with whom he fights an eternal war for dominion of the whole Polasenok.

Like his evil counterpart Aefan, Aethan is usually depicted as one of the Solwol from The Dying Birth . Beyond this, he is often personified in humanoid terms as a powerful, radiant male in brilliant armour, or sometimes in soft fine linens. Although these personifications are helpful, it is necessary to bear in mind that as a Supreme Deity, Aethan is beyond such distinctions and is perhaps better understood in conceptual rather than personal terms.
