Magic

Magic is a complex force, unknown where it came from or why it came to be. People are born with the ability to cast magic, and what type is usually correlated to the month they're born in. 

Created by the Gods?

Magic is thought by most to be tied with the gods, as are most things when their origin can't be explained. What is certain is that each of the schools of magic can be traced back to a particular member of the pantheon.

The Laws of Magic

1. All energy, including magic in finite
2. It is impossible to force others to cast magic against their will

Magic and the Body

All magic causes the mind, body, magic or soul of the caster to be corrupted, otherwise known as magical mutation. The strong the magic user, the more invasive their mutation.
