Eusarre Erria is where belief went to die once. Now it is where it lives free.
Sometime in the first three hundred Cycles after life was established in the Orionis Cluster, the religions that had been brought with the original settlers from Earth had become to be viewed as a backward habit to possess. This was especially the view in what had already become known as the Inner System and those who still followed what was becoming slowly referred to as the Old Ways began looking for a way to escape.
When the terraforming of Eusarre Erria began, those looking to escape the Inner System flocked to the region as a way to escape what was being viewed as persecution. Those who had remained largely expected the religions to continue to die out over time but those who flocked to the system proved them wrong. Although the old religions did die and have not been worshipped since long before the Collapse occurred, a new religion with a grand pantheon of gods formed in the system. They say now that Eusarra Erria is the one place where worship of whatever gods one wishes can be done freely and without judgment.
Once the home system of Baen Arleth, whose actions lead to the Collapse in 3255 AFT.
Religion is the life blood of Eusarre Erria, or so the saying goes. The belief of the people there runs strong and true...though for the last six hundred Cycles that belief has been chased by one truth: fly too high on the wings of prophecy and you too may fall as Baen Arleth did.
