Professor Savol

Professor Savol is the head of the Order of White Robes, who specialize in Divination and Abjuration magic.
Given a Second Life
Professor Savol is one of two wizards to recieve their position as the head of their order of the robes from a predecessor. In Savol's case, his progenitor was his master, also named Savol. Professor Savol, previously known as Professor Jitters, was merely the wondrous item known Professor Orb. This Professor Orb served as a trusted servant to the original Savol, who aided with the ascension. Savol knew that he wouldn't be able to aid his fellow wizards as time continued on as he was an already elderly human, so he conspired a plan to transport everything that he knew into his Professor Orb.
Thus, unlike other Professor Orbs who cannot act on their own accord, Professor Savol has the full mental capabilities of a humanoid. However, he is not just the original wizard's brain instead of his own consciousness. When he was awakened upon the orignal Savol's death, he found he gained new knowledge beyond his original four areas of expertise, including divination and abjuration magic. Afterwards, he was ordained as the new head of the Order of White Robes, though his authority is sometimes questioned or even disregarded as he is seen as a simple magic item.
Appearance
Unfortunately, Professor Savol can sometimes be difficult to spot as he looks exactly like your standard Professor Orb, which is a common magic item amongst highbrow scholors. He is a perfectly smooth orb made of a smoky gray quartz, weighing about 5 pounds and about 8 inches in diameter. Beneath the swirls of gray, there are a few pinpricks of light that move like eyes beneath the surface. While he is usually seen sitting upon a plump, luxious pillow, he is able to summon a Mage Hand that appears to be that of an elderly human's bejeweled in sigiled rings.

Professor Savol is multitalented––and very proud of that fact. He can speak, read and understand five different languages and has extensive knowledge of five narrow acedemic subjects. It is also rumored he has a beautiful singing voice, though he's never sung in front of anyone before.
