Cursed from a young age, Ulrich has fought for every year of his life. Through perserverance, patience, and cunning, he has not only survived, but fought his way to his position as Leader of Clan Ivanova. His still frequent periods wracked with terrible pain have only hardened his resolve to see his Clan take the throne. Having lived with death looming over him for over 180 years, Ulrich knows death only as his most persistent rival. Compared to it, the heads of other families are just minor characters in a play.
Despite his affliction preventing him from enlisting, Ulrich stands undefeated as a Duelist. Lacking the stamina for prolonged battles, he strikes with speed and ferocity, finishing fights within the first few rounds before his strength begins to waver.
