A living legend amongst clerics & paladins, Ariel has defended countless villages across Respite from Lycan attacks, and even took down a Packleader during her prime. She has led Clan Malikov since her mother's passing, focusing her Clan's efforts into acts for the people of Respite, not just the royal families, or even their respective kingdoms. In time, she has begun to lose faith in the other Clans, who only seem concerned with maintaining their status & positions.
She was the one who nominated Falka for heir, having seen in her the ideals she strove for in her youth. Unfortunately, it is those similarities that have led to conflict between them. Ariel wants Falka to be a leader, whereas Falka wishes for freedom to put herself on the line in service to the people, a desire that risks losing the throne entirely should she fall.
