Aisling's Glade
The Elven Forests of Llanowar. Grown by Aisling, Goddess of the Elves, when she first traveled to the shores of the Immortal Lands. It is said she grew the forest to provide shelter and sanctuary to her people after their suffering at the vicious claws of the Dragon Tyrant. Under her caring touch, the roots grew deep and the trees strong. They provided the Elves with everything they could need to start new lives.
In the center of the wood is an enormous sycamore tree that's central to the Elves of Llanowar. Planted by Aisling herself, the tree has grown over thousands of years. Its roots have grown so deep and thick that the entire glade is, in fact, just one tree.
The glade is sacred to followers of Aisling, and Aisling herself was buried beneath the roots of her tree. The High Ruler of the Elves sits on a throne shaped from the tree, wearing a crown fashioned from twigs & branches they gather before their coronation. They reside in a dwelling built into the tree, shared by their closest advisors and partners.
