Centuries ago, a conflict now known as the Kazarian Heresy rocked the known world as a tyrant warlord waged a campaign of terror across the land, slaying two gods and beginning a ritual that would see himself rise in their place. Eight heroes rose against him, curtailing his ambitions but rising as gods themselves in the near mythical Godsmarch.
That, though, is all in the distant past and an era of comparative peace has set in for the world of Nareah. While occasional conflicts between nations still occur, the nations of the world are relatively well off and their citizens go about their lives with little worry. But outside the safety of towns, dark forces stir as a reminder that not everything lasts forever...
Nareah is a homebrew fantasy setting used for both Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder.
