Session 10: Setting Sail for Koninkryk
General Summary
The Fondudes found themselves in a difficult situation. Their original plan to infiltrate Koninkryk had failed, and they were now being hunted by the Koninkryk army. But they were determined to succeed in their quest to obtain the special powers needed to defeat The Nelde.
After narrowly escaping capture in Padaqjil, the party returned to Sarana to regroup and come up with a new plan. After much searching, Stefan discovered a rare book on handling aquatic animals, which he believed would be valuable enough to gain entry into the Danai Library in Spilpunt, the capital of Koninkryk.
Their next challenge was how to actually get into Koninkryk, with increased border security due to the potential conflict with Dund Gazar, the party could not simply walk in without proper documentation. They decided to set sail to Koninkryk by sea, finding passage on a merchant ship called The Meridian.
However, the voyage was not without its own set of difficulties. The ship was crewed entirely by gnomes, and everything on board was sized accordingly, making for an uncomfortable few days for the Fondudes. But they pushed on, determined to reach their destination and continue their quest. As they set sail, they could not help but wonder what challenges and obstacles they would face next.
