Danai Library of Thauna

The Danai Library stands out as a magnificent and obviously important building. Towering well above all other buildings in the city, the Danai Library is a square tower-like building, made entirely of huge stone bricks, with few balconies and windows.

• Off the entryway, which has massively tall ceilings, is a room with a teleportation circle. It can only be used to travel between libraries to which you've already gained entrance, and only after you have proven yourself to the Danai through numerous valuable donations
• In the entrance to the library itself, a clerk asks people to sign in and check their weapons in before allowed entrance into the library proper.
• In the library itself is the largest collection of bookshelves and books you've ever seen; the room is dimly lit by magical light (no fire or torches allowed)
• Within the main chamber are small rooms around the perimeter where people can sit down and read. Taking books out of the library is strictly forbidden.
• Upon leaving the main chamber, patrons are examined to make sure they are not taking any books
