The Tavern's Tale The Diamond Boat is owned by a former member of The Kingfishers, a goblin named Quincy Quince who was a former Kae who is a warlock of Elrus the Voidwatcher. Before owning the tavern, Quince was a rumour forger (a craft from Nephil). The inspiration for the tavern's name was a story from the owner's past in which he was aboard a boat with a mage who transmuted it into diamond. It is a tavern of aristocratic quality, and its main draw is the attractive waitstaff.
The Bartender The bartender at The Diamond Boat is a young adult male tiefling who is attractive. He is often acutely obnoxious in disposition. His skin is a red color, and he has small, pointed horns. He has purple hair, worn in a top-knot style. Physically, he is profoundly muscular.
The Clientele On a typical night, the clientele at The Diamond Boat can be described as impressively clandestine. On this occasion, there are around twenty other people currently in the tavern. Several patrons are speaking in hushed tones. A few are having a private conversation, and some others are playing a game of darts. Sitting at a secluded table, there is a jittery looking figure. They are in search of able-bodied adventurers to assist in the recovery of a kidnapped relative.
