The Borderlands

The Borderlands are the untamed frontier of the Kingdom of Najarune. Stretching beyond the reach of royal authority, this wild expanse is a place of old magic, long-buried secrets, and uneasy tensions. Dense forests, crumbling ruins, and cursed hills dominate the terrain. The land itself seems to remember something the rest of the world has forgotten.

To the kingdom, the Borderlands are both a challenge and an opportunity. Guilds stake claims, adventurers carve paths, and settlers push the boundaries of civilization. The Vorik’Hel, who have lived here for generations, believe they are guardians of a being they call Gor’Nagth, known in forbidden texts as the Old God. Though they do not fully understand what lies below, they know that disturbing it could bring ruin.

The Contest between guilds is centered here, bringing fierce competition into already fragile lands. The Unbroken Chain seeks to dominate trade routes, The Divine Hand builds with magic and steel, and the Eyes of the Storm walk the line between protection and conquest. The Sacred Pentarch monitors the situation closely, its influence felt even in the remote corners of this contested land.

It is said the power of the Five Elemental Gods pulses strongly here, as though they guard something deep beneath the earth. Strange omens and elemental surges are not uncommon.

A giant gryphon is rumored to fly across the skies of the Borderlands. Rarely seen, it is spoken of in hushed tones, a living myth in a land already full of legends.

In the midst of this chaos stands Satyr's Rest , a neutral tavern where even enemies set aside weapons and drink in peace. Travelers speak of a witch wearing an emotionless mask who appears without warning. She offers cryptic tests to adventurers and vanishes without explanation, leaving behind questions and unease.
