Shards of Luthror

The shards of Luthror are purple crystals scattered through the higher layers of the underdark in the Material Plane. The shards are the remains of the ork deity Luthror and they are sought after by the Greenskin Luthror Clans. They appear useless to anyone but Orcs, if an orc worshiping Luthror physically touches the crystals, its might is amplified by an amount equaling its fanatic worship of Luthror. If instead the crystal is touched by a worshiper of Gruumsh the orcs strength is sapped by an ammount equal to its worship of Gruumsh. The only known exception has been Grom the Beardcutta who through the blessings of Gruumsh managed to corrupt the shards he stole and use them to amplify his power.
