Empire Soldier Rank/Title in Nainoxia | World Anvil

Empire Soldier

An empire soldier is not your typical warrior or guard. Imperial soldiers are volunteers from the guard force of a city or town, that sign up to be trained to become a soldier. The training is done by the Adeptus Justicari and is as much mental as it is physical. An empire soldier who has left training is expected to be physically and mentally able to effectively combat the enemies of the empire or guard an important place or figure. The soldiers command much more respect than guards and that can be seen as they wear metal face masks to show that they are not an individual, but a part of the Empire and a servant to the Gods. They can be found serving in the army, or guarding important places or people in the empire. While the Adeptus Justicari train them, once they have been assigned somewhere else they do not officially have any duties to them, however most soldiers worship Yiortis and as such feel a stronger connection with them than other churches.
