Reylyn (Ray-linn)
Reylyn is a small kingdom formed following the Aswani Civil War, its founding family given independence in exchange for their aid during the war.
During the war the local nobles of what would become Reylyn resisted calls to action from both their distant Bocraean rulers as well as the local Aswani rebels that surrounded them. Their attacks on the rebels situated them as a significant threat, but their unwillingness to siege cities or march far from their lands led to a long drawn out fight from both sides by the rebels.
Eventually, the nobles of Reylyn brokered a peace with the Aswani, in exchange for their own independent nation.
Culture
Much like the Vect to the north, the people of Reylyn have long sought to quietly rule their lands.
