Below are some example overland travel speeds, assuming easy terrain like roads or open plains, and being careful enough to avoid overly dangerous terrain.

• Fast - 30 mi/day, but tiring without a horse
• Normal - 20 mi/day
• Slow - 10 mi/day

Different terrain determines how quickly you can travel without risking further danger. It also determines how easy it is to get lost, find food, and similar activities.
