Crime in Iccot

Gangs and criminal syndicates have a strong presence in Iccot's capital, and often hold sway with greedy merchants or crooked officials looking to make some coin. The politics of these criminals is as intricate as the politics of the city itself, and most locals to the city have a decent grasp of what is going on in the criminal underworld.   The capital hosts both large international syndicates such as the Three Point Kings, as well as hyper localized gangs that control small neighborhoods.

Notable Criminal Organizations

Three Point Kings, an international crime syndicate that originates in Bocrae, they have begun to have increased presence in Iccot. They are highly political, and seem generally immune to the law's grasp, but lack the manpower that other organizations have.   Gravediggers, a small but infamous gang which is the oldest gang still active today. They are known for their brutality in protection rackets, extortion, and keenly keeping their territory.   Bulls, a gang so small it would be insignificant, if not for the fact that it has weathered every raid and rival gang attack attempted on it. They are exclusively active in Plaith West and are known for larceny and petty crimes committed to its populace.   The Three Point Kings criminal syndicate, most powerful in the far north of the continent, has made efforts to push into Iccot, primarily opening high end clubs, casinos, and other similar such influential locations.   Assorted pirates visit Iccot, but generally keep quiet and act as smugglers to avoid taxes or hide less desirable trade. Most citizens assume that the merchant lords that rule the nation make thorough use of freelance pirates, and are in no rush to attempt to push them away. Luckily, attacks on merchant vessels remain rare in Iccotian waters.
