The Notmare
Oobalith is the Obyrith of the Void. Oobalith is technically a full fledged member of the Obyrith race however betrayal landed Oobalith in a demoted status. A being representing the aspects of Nothing, it is Oobalith who aids the Overgods in their protection of Na'Endreth where the light cannot shine. The only reason a corporeal form exists are of its own volition to communicate with mortal mind. Oobalith is widely revered by denizens of the lower planes as a protector and a savior. Oobalith does not hold the need to consume like its kin far it takes its nourishment from sacrifice and loss. As a byproduct of fasting however an awakened Oobalith is a horror to be hold driven into insane and unpredictable action.
The being is said to be everywhere and no where at the same time. Slumbering soundly in the Empty waiting to be disturbed. Those who do are rewarded and cursed with visions of Void, and tormented with insanity. Its cults are composed of those who stumbled upon Oobalith, forever renounced to the insanity brought forth, incurable zealots of anti-creation.
