Thordale Area
Description
The area around Thordale is one of the most populated area in a huge radius. This is understandable seeing as Thordale is the capital of Ordania and the biggest trade-center. Although the surrounding area is perfectly suited as farmland, the people of Thordale tend to stay inside the city. One of the reason why this is the case might be the dangerous wildlife that lives in the foothills of the Azure Peaks. Merchants coming from the Royal Crossroads tend to be accompanied by a large amount of highly trained body guards to keep them save. Recently, reports of a Griffin attacking caravans have been making the rounds, which is not really unusual. Still, there are multiple villages in the foothills. One is Morthane, which is located at the coast and relies of fishing and "legal" shipping services into Thordale, the other is Corvale, which is a popular resting-place for traveller from and to Thordale.

Geography
Steep, partially forested, foothills around the Azure Peaks lead towards Thordale. The roads here are pretty well traveled and well maintained. Unless you try to get to Morthane
Fauna & Flora
Lush forests and grassy hills stand in stark contrast with the rough mountain roads of the Azure Peaks
