The Collective Unconscious

As first discovered by Carl Jung, the Collective Unconscious is a realm shared by all humans. It contains memories, thoughts, myths and instincts of all man kind, it's influence expressed by archetypes but only viewed by humans through dreams

Such a world was never meant to be entered by humanity and certainly never meant to be used by a conspiracy to overthrow a government and eventually take over the world. However, that is what ended up happening. The Divine Conspiracy created a portal into the Collective Unconscious. However, after a fight against Alec Richards and his classmates, the portal went haywire. Now unable to be disabled, monsters began flooding through into the real world. Mankind's Fears became reality
