Griffins and Hippogriffs
Griffins are legendary flying creatures that have the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. Hippogriffs, on the other hand, are also legendary flying creatures but with the front half of an eagle and the hind half of a horse. These noble and great creatures symbolize courage, vigilance, loyalty, and love.
Both creatures are known for guarding priceless possessions or great places of magic. The Grand High Royalty of Ancient Power uses them for this purpose. It was Baxter and Angela who also assigned them to Guardians of Royal Household duty as well as protection outside of Polar North.
In group naming, we have a pride of griffons (or convocation) and a herd of hippogriff (or a cast).
Mystical Aura/Power/Radiance: Dwarves, like all in The Fae Collective, have an aura of power surrounding them. This energy also makes it known that they possess strong magical properties and are part of Ancient Power.
Magic Detection/Sense “Third-Eye View or Remote Viewing”: Through the mystical sense of second sight, all Fae have the ability to detect sources from other supernatural entities and mystical items. This perception allows others to see friendlies or enemies or unknowns. They can also detect hidden places or objects as well. All Fae can analyze locations for signs of magic usage and beings. They can also detect portals if they are forming or dissipating with this ability.
The Gift of Immortality: These gifts allows the Dwarves to live forever.
Omnilingualism/All-Tongue and Zoolingualism: “The Gift of Universal Translation” is to be able to speak, write, understand and communicate in any language, sign language (even lip-reading), alien languages that have never been heard before, reading body language, and backwards speech and writing with little or no training. With a subset of All-Tongue, users are able to understand the speech of animal life forms.
Telepathy “Telepathic Contact” (Master Level): All Guardians are able communicate by thought-speak and they can also read minds. And lots more!
Supernatural Agility: Due to Griffins being guardians, they are drastically more agile than what is naturally possible. This is to help catch any bad guys.
Supernatural Vision: Due to Griffins being guardians, they have a sense of vision unnaturally more acute than other beings. They have to be able to see kilometers away, see in all directions at once, see in the dark, see the faintest distinctions, and track things too fast for the normal eye. They are protectors of places and sacred things so this is important for them.
Supernatural Hearing: Due to Griffins being guardians, they have a sense of hearing unnaturally more acutely than other beings. They are protectors of places and sacred things so this is important for them.
Supernatural Perception/Hyper Observation Intuition/Insight and 360-Degree Senses: Griffins perceptive abilities are unnaturally superior to others, allowing for superhuman analytical and observational skills as well as a keen eye for details. Griffins sense, smell, hear, and see omnidirectionally at the same time.
Night Vision: As Griffins are always guarding something, they all have the ability to see in low light conditions or even total darkness. This can be inherently turned off or on depending on time of day.
