Christmas Elves (North Pole Elves)
Christmas Elves are those who work for Santa Claus/Father Christmas alongside the Flyers of Claus and Christmas. The helpers originally came from Heathdorei Allanar Shflenor, the Elvin city of hope and goodwill. They and their descendants are called Christmas Elves, the elfin community we now know who do their duties to fulfill the Mission of Noel.
Some elves work as toymaking and wrapping elves, record elves (Naughty and Nice List and records), reindeer and sleigh elves, and elves in other jobs.
Christmas Elves were created in 350 AD after Nicholas became the Father of Noel. Over the years, the elves in Heathdorei (and other places) came to ask Nicholas if he needed help and so he blessed them.
It was a combination of the elfin lives expansion and Nicholas knowing more lives were to be born and so deserved the presents he gave that the city was created in 1850. It then came time for Nicholas to create their own unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy (Parliament).
The Quarters include spaces for all living creatures. But for now, the elfin development found outside the city. Part of this development is for the inner sanctum-the North Pole’s Most Distinguished Elves, the Christmas Department Director Heads. These are in a protected area for their safety.
Powers:
Elves, in general, already have powers. The ones received are just in relation to Nicholas and Christmas Spirit.
The first power is not named and it may not technically be a power but part of Ancient Power, Christmas Magic, and Christmas Spirit. It is the skills of each elf who is blessed by Nicholas because of the Magic within him.
The second and last power has more to do with the knowledge gained through extraordinary means. The elves in Records know everything that happens but more importantly, The Naughty & Nice List Sub-Division knows where the kids go.
The third power was important until 2020. It is how to make the special reindeer flying dust. It came from the ancient elfin ways. It is not in use today but it is written in a sacred place if it is needed again.
Christmas Elves are the only sub-species of Elves that eat things considered unhealthy for anyone else (including Humans). They survive on sweets looking like healthy food. They also eat a ton of Christmas-themed food. They drink Milk and Eggnog and Cocoa.
Many are so busy that one meal and snacks can last a whole day or more!
For those that don’t get exercise through their job, there are still ways they exercise including the use of a health and wellness center.
