Rin
Rin was a Human Fighter, one who aspired to see the world. They came from an independant village near orc lands, the last survivor. From there they moved to Goldsborough where they spent most of their life, hating magic and everything it stands for.
Rin hated the arcane and didn't think anyone should possess it, going so far as to study ways in which to kill magic users who cross them, and specialising in a weapon that is hard to counter with magic. Guns. A gifted gambler and gunsmith who worshipped a God they believed is above all. You may have your magic, but Rin had the 3 G's, God, Guns, and Gambling.
Rin's story came to an end in 1084 FA when magic prevailed over guns. Rin was a member of the group who founded Greenest and died trying to rid the area of werewolves.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Before their untimely death, Rin was a healthy individual with an atheletic build befitting a fighter. Having a strong upper body, and dextrous limbs, Rin also possessed a very powerful immune system meaning they very rarely got sick.
At their time of death however, Rin was mostly a pile of innards sprayed out against the wall and floor and between the teeth of werewolves.

Rin had little to no identifying features, blending in with most crowds using their androgynous appearance.
Physical quirks
Rin possessed the pointed ears of a human witch, despite not being one and having no magic.
Special abilities
Rin became quite adept at fashioning firearms which are known as somewhat of a lost technology from the Remnants.
Apparel & Accessories
Rin typically, when not wearing armour would wear a sweater over a t-shirt with trousers and brown boots.
On an adventuring day, Rin would typically sport chain mail armour and a shield.

Personal history
Rin grew up in the small town of Caterpillar City, an independant town near the orc country of Grognak. Orcs raided and burned Rin's village using magic when Rin was 7 but they survived by being hidden away in a building that the orcs passed over. Rin left the burning town as soon as they found it safe to do so and walked for days until they passed out from starvation.
Rin found themself in a foster home called "Happy Home Home" in Goldsborough, no memory of how they arrived there.
For the next ten years Rin would be bullied for being sparkless, but eventually they happened on something they were good at. Gambling. From card games to poker, Rin was good at gambling especially since it was illegal to use magic in it.
Rin toughened up though from the bullying, training to become strong and building martial prowess so they could take the upperclassmen and their spells.
Rin eventually managed to graduate through sheer determination, mostly fueled by spite. It was a miracle they graduated with the shitty grades they had, especially terrible in magic of course, but they did it. Shortly after graduation Rin found an illegal gambling rin in Goldsborough where they used their gambling prowess to win an odd set of artefacts said to have come from Remnant ruins. After that, Rin decided it was time to leave the city and get some work, using the martial skills they had cultivated to kill monsters and shit.
Rin became lost for the next year doing jobs until they eventually found an ad to join a caravan as a guard, heading northwest from Dougstar to establish a new home on the coast.
Rin was among the adventurers who later became known as The Saviours of Greenest who helped establish Greenest and keep it safe during its fledgeling days. They explored remnant ruins in the The Emerald Peaks, losing their ally Arthur Swifteye to the defences then performing a ritual to resurrect him in the name of The Muffin King. A ritual which was unsuccessful. Arthur was later resurrected by Forsythia Mythralight but Rin forever believed it was them who brought Arthur back from the dead. Rin would also go on to aid in capturing the Troll used in Forsythia Mythralight's ritual at The Blood Oak and helping save Gwendolyn Mythralight from the fate of her family.
After the ritual, at a loss of what to do next, Rin's adventuring party decided to hunt down the werewolves which had attacked them. Arthur led hunt, but Rin was a major player and the one who fired first at the murderous therianthropes. Once an openning party of three lycanthropes were dealt with, Rin led the charge into darkness towards the remainder of the pack. Battle ensued after Rin and the alpha werewolf hugged and it brushed their silver spear. The battle was going well until allies were injured and Rin called the werewolves toward them to take the heat off their friends. This caused all the remaining wolves to take the bait and attack Rin with all their might, which ended Rin's tale with them being ripped apart in that cave.
Education
By some miracle, Rin managed to graduate from school with some of the lowest grade, and most absenses ever reported. But they did it with just enough credit to get out with a diploma. Rin was a certified High School Graduate.
Employment
Rin worked odd jobs as a monster hunter and hired muscle in and around Dougstar but always staying in Dougleton until the Greenest Mission.
Rin perished in the line of a hired adventurer working as a guard for the blossoming town of Greenest while working to protect and establish it after helping escort and protect the initial caravan.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Rin was believed to be the only servivor of Caterpillar City, having lived by hiding away in a building until the raid passed.
Rin was also highly accomplished gambler having won some large sums of money to pay their expenses, and later winning a set of firearms before they departed Goldsborough.
Failures & Embarrassments
Rin failed miserably to resurrect Arthur Swifteye by burning most of his body and some potatoes as an offering to The Muffin King. This resurrection may have been unsuccessful, but until the very end Rin was steadfast in their belief that it worked.

Motivation
Rin had a simple motivation but still a fine one, as they possessed a great wanderlust which urged them to travel the world and see the sights there are to behold.

Rin felt useless when not in possession of a gun and would often simply crumple to the floor or ground.

Family Ties
Neither Rin, nor any of Rin's companions knew of any family ties since they grew up in an ophanage. If they possessed strong family ties of anykind, they were unaware of them.

Religious Views
Rin worshipped the potato god Rumbles, The Muffin King, believing they are above all other deities and should be exalted as such. With Rumbles great power, if one appeases Rumbles, they may just be gifted what they need, such as resurrection in a time of great strife if you sacrifice enough potatoes.
Hobbies & Pets
A great hobby of Rin's was an aptitude for gambling. This had gone well in the past as they acquired their first guns through these means, but other times it lead to a loss of funds.

Rin was dirt poor possessing almost literally no money with what little wealth they had being what they had in material possessions. One wealth they did however obtain, is the power of a solid set of friends.
