Lhurak (Lure-A-ck)

The Lhurak people are taller on average than most of their human brethren, on average standing a few inches above six feet. They tend toward dusky complexions, with light eyes and full heads of hair worn in elaborate styles, woven with beads, feathers and other adornments. They also tend to be slight of build, well-muscled. They are quick of hand and light of foot. They also have a fascination of flames and fire, working the colors and pattern of it into the weave of their clothing and the shapes and color of their jewelry.
Lhurak are impulsive, with a strong distaste for complacency or isolation. They long to be on the road, traveling and exploring the untamed wilderness that lies between cities and nations. This extroverted quality was part of the reason why they tend to get along uncommonly well with others. Rather than feeling that interaction outside of their culture diminishes or weakens them, the Lhurak believe that interacting with others, is the best way to spread the values of their culture, thereby strengthening all the breeds of men.
Lhurak tend to band together in small tribes and are nomadic in nature, not that many taking to an urban or city lifestyle, preferring the open sky and wild land. For this reason, many think them strange or backward, even Fey touched. They are superstitious and prone to marking their skin with tattoos that resemble the leaf of the trees or the swirling ever-changing flow of the rivers or clouds.
