Sark is the gruff, but congenial owner of a known trading caravan that has been in operation for close to fifteen years, traversing a route from Stormhaven to Tarnhomme, then round to Shorn to MageGate and then across the Mournful Wastes to Stormhaven once again. Sark has been in the business for decades and has traveled the road all his life. He has survived animal and bandit attacks, is gruff and all business and nothing surprises him. He reminisces about the “good ol’ days” when the War was still on and there was more profit to be had running weapons and goods between army camps. The Caravan consists of 17 Wagons, one of which is the cook wagon and three that are supply wagons including Sark’s personal wagon, each manned with a driver and second and a rear guard. In addition to the three men who ride the wagons there are two mercs that ride alongside – the Caravan consists of one squad per wagon (5 soldiers apiece), including one designated as a sergeant – 85 men in all. These hirelings divide work amongst themselves when the Caravan is stopped for the evenings – fuel gathering, hunting, perimeter guards, etc. They also share the watches.
