Each soul will have sovereignty, and belong only to itself. As with all of the Triskelaws, this edict is enforced supernaturally, causing chains to break, ropes to snap, and narcotics to fail when they would impose upon free will. As such, the punitive and judicial system in Astropor is unlike any other in the world, and relies heavily on community service and exile as the deterrents for crime. It's protections do not, however, prevent a man from being detained by other living beings such as civic guards.
