God's Eye Bay
Surrounded by towering cliffs and the gleaming, white stone walls of The Astrapolis that taper down to the water's edge, the crystal-clear water of the lagoon is a stunning shade of turquoise and is so clear that the sandy bottom is visible even from the surface. The shallow waters are home to an abundance of colorful coral and tropical fish.
At the center of the bay is a deep sinkhole, which plunges down into the abyssal depths below. The sides of the sinkhole are jagged and uneven, and the water surrounding it is a deep shade of blue that contrasts with the bright turquoise of the shallows. The sinkhole is so deep that it is impossible to see the bottom, and the darkness of the abyss seems to suck in all the light around it.
When seen from above, the lagoon and the sinkhole create the impression of a massive, gleaming eye set amidst the verdant green of the surrounding cliffs. The beauty of the cove and its unique geography are truly breathtaking, and it's no wonder that it's considered one of the most beautiful spots on the peninsula.
