Windsong
Geography
The thicket’s boundaries are marked by towering trees whose bark shimmers faintly with emerald and silver hues, as if woven with the very breath of the forest. Their branches intertwine high above, forming a natural cathedral that filters the sunlight into soft, dappled patterns on the mossy floor. The air is thick with the scent of blooming wildflowers and the subtle, sweet melody of leaves rustling—a gentle song carried on the wind, said to be the thicket’s own voice.
Localized Phenomena
An ancient gnarled tree known as the Baum grows in the central. The tree's roots has energy and its leaves glow under the moonlight. Druises rest in the grovee find their connection to the natural world deepening, their spells strengthened, and their spirits renewed.
Climate
The climate is temperate matching all of Falade.
Fauna & Flora
Interwoven throughout the thicket are glowing tendrils of magic, visible as faint ribbons of light weaving between branches and curling around flowers, their hues shifting with the time of day—from gentle golds and greens by morning, to deep blues and purples at twilight. The thicket’s magic is alive and responsive, reacting to the emotions and needs of those within, offering protection or encouragement as needed.
Small creatures—sprites, forest spirits, and gentle beasts—frequently emerge from the shadows, drawn to the sanctuary’s warmth and vitality. Their presence is reassuring, a sign that this place is blessed by the primal forces of nature. Here, the line between the physical and the magical blurs; the thicket itself seems to breathe and pulse with life, a living guardian of all who seek shelter beneath its canopy.
