Isvieldara - Region

By Konrad Bennett Hughes
Isvieldara is a magical land to the South of the Kingdom of Benselot. Once, ruled by the kings of this northern realm in ancient days, now it is a broken land.
The Lords Mok hold the greatest sway over the region in the province of Elak'ris in the West of Isvieldara. Maomi is the only city in this region, sitting on the shores of the Elak'abor connecting trade to Thelune's Gap. From Flutligti fortress on the border of the haunted forest of Elak'karum to the town surrounding Fornamstborg between Mok and Maomi, the Lords Mok cultivate and protect their borderland duchy.
On the Sydlig Plains herds of great aurochs are shepherded by the Uruz, a tribe of docile minotaur-like creatures. They avoid contact with humans if possible but are known to trade nearby with elves and gnomes.
The Isveild Forest is inhabited by Wood Elves, ruled by the King Anterrin from his hidden enclave deep in the forest. Few elves leave the forest for long, but they can be found in the human towns of the region from time to time.
In the Oska Skog the Wazzles, goblin-like creatures, have built a small kingdom of their own around their city of Wazzleton. They are hostile to Elves and humans but avoid contact with gnomes of any kind. Rumors say that they have a pact with the Giants to their north in the Oska Bergs though few venture into those dangerous lands.
The Lands of Anberron in the East are ruled by the Duchess of Fjrusulst, Gerrama Novish. She has kept relations with the Lords Mok cordial but there is no friendliness between them as old wounds still fester.
The large port town of Sodrahamn and its little sister Dara serve as the connections for trade between the two human duchies but are not ruled by either lord, as their town councils have ruled them for centuries.
Ancient castles build in the time of The Empire of Anaxaneas such as Skyddara, Beskydad, and Bavarborg dot the landscape, mostly harboring wicked monsters and bandits these days.
