Vespara, the Undying Whisper

Vespara is a spectral figure that haunts the very concept of life and death. Originally a necromancer of great power, her mastery over life forces was unparalleled. Her formidable skills allowed her to create the necromancy school of magic, pioneering spells that could revive those who had suffered untimely demises. This profound mastery over life's delicate threads was a pinnacle of arcane potential, and her divine ascension soon followed.   In the early days of her divinity, Vespara respected the sanctity of life and death. She understood the profound difference between returning a prematurely severed soul and denying the natural process of death. Yet, something changed by the time the Great Sundering occurred. The Vespara who joined the March of the Usurpers was a twisted version of her former self, who sought not to respect the cycle of life and death but to bend it to her will.   Speculations abound that Vespara may have once held the position of the god of death, mirroring the role of the Eternal Arbiter. These theories suggest that her downfall was not due to an inherent evil within her, but rather, a misguided attempt to control the forces she was meant to oversee. It is believed that unlike the Eternal Arbiter, she did not have dominion over fate, as this was the province of the Chronos, the Timkeeper, and some believe Vespara resented this. Whether this is true or not, Vespara has certainly become a figure of dread and fear, her name synonymous with unnatural life and corrupted death.   Vespara's name is met with particular disdain in the Estari Dominion when it was revealed she was the source of the Undead Plague . The Church of the Angel's Vein, who offered the miracle cure of the Divine Blood to the sick and injured, told the people of the Dominion that the Divine Blood was given by willing angels answering the prayers of the church. Following the outbreak of the Undead Plague, it was revealed the Divine Blood was infact a curse from Vespara, who endaevored to creat an undead army for the victims of the Plague.   Vespara was the only Usurper who was not vanquished, but rather willingly retreated to her realm when the writing was on the wall that the Guardian Pantheon would stand victorious. Vespara had managed to avoid much of the conflict by setting her sights on the Netherweave rather than the Prime Material Plane. The Shadowfell still bears scars of undead influence leftover from the Undying Whisper's reign.     Orebosia, the Realm of the Undead   Orebosia is a somber and eerie plane ruled by Vespara, the Undying Whisper. Here, the air is thick with the stench of decay and the moans of countless tormented souls echo through the darkness. The landscape is a twisted reflection of a once-beautiful land, now marred by desolation and the chilling touch of undeath. The once-peaceful resting place of countless souls has been transformed into a grim, twisted reflection of its former self. The once-beautiful mausoleums, crypts, and tombs have been corrupted by the influence of Vespara, who uses them to house her legions of undead minions.

Vespara's Necropolis is an immense, sprawling city of the dead at the heart of Orebosia. The Necropolis is a labyrinthine network of tomb-laden streets and shadowy catacombs, where the line between life and death is blurred. The restless dead wander the dark corridors, driven by Vespara's command and her twisted desire to create an eternal army of undead servants. At the center of the Necropolis lies Vespara's throne, a ghastly seat of power forged from bone and wreathed in shadow. Here, the Undying Whisper presides over her kingdom of undeath.
