Ocar (Ah-kur)

(a.k.a. God of protection, civilization and creation)

A lesser god, but still quite revered, he is the guardian of civilization, and patron god of all who use their time and talents to create and build. Often city walls are engraved with his symbol carved in to the stone or wood to invoke is protection. Castles too, on occasion, but his protection primarily falls upon cities and urban hubs with civilian population. It is not uncommon for objects appropriate to defending civilized areas to become unexpectedly enchanted when bearing his symbol. Blacksmiths typically say a prayer to Ocar before a long period of work before their forge.   Typically his servants are talented craftsmen, such as blacksmiths, carpenters, or artists, as these sorts of individuals garner the most of his adoration. Right beside them are stalwort defenders of the innocent, civilized common folk that typically cannot defend themselves against the menaces outside of the city walls.
