Durin I

Durin was the first of the Dwarf Fathers to awaken in Middle Earth. He was the founder of the original DWARF HOME , and is considered the founder of the species. Thus the year is marked, for Dwarves, by the Sun and Moon in the sky in early Autumn on the Day known as DURIN'S DAY .
