Sven was born of a pagan couple in denmark. They secrectly worshipped the spirit of the bear and Sven was immediately taken by the thoughts of their religion. He wanted to help spread the word but his parents warned him about it and the general dislike of anything outside the normal. Sven at an early aged practiced magic alongside his parents.
Sven was the youngest of 7 siblings. All of them get along extremely well and all have very different roles. Sven set out to use his magic and brutish strength in the army of denmark. His parents gave him their blessing and even gave him a small symbol of the bear for protection if anything ever went wrong.
Sven was in the army for a few years until he was asked to move over to france to help with the war currently raging there. He was to join forces with the Servanstein family to help them move the animals they tame to the battle field. Upon arriving the bear Granola was immediately friendly with the young Sven. Sven followed suit quickly falling for her counterpart Sebastien seeing just how good he cared for her. The two spent a large amount of time together and get extremely close until one night Sven confessed his feelings to sebastian who was unable to accept them.
After concluding his business with the family he quietly left and returned to his parents. They heard about his heart break with sebastian and tried to help whoever they could. They did at first try to find someone who was more inline with how they thought and felt but this pushed Sven even deeper into poor feelings. They eventually relented and suggested why not see Sebastians reasons for rejecting him and prehaps he can help him overcome any short comings.
Sven decided to return to France leaving the danish army to try and do exactly this.
