Arcanist Michelle Mournstar, Lady of House Mournstar
Arcanist Michelle Mournstar is the Master of Arcana in the Azure Council, the ruling body of the kingdom of Zentrum, and she has held this position for well over 30 years. Born during the peak years of the Dead Wars (843 PoT), Michelle grew up in wartime. During that time, it is said that she truly came into her own as a practitioner of the arcane, and earned many accolades in the process.
It is during this time she would meet Evenora “Starscourge” Fagerstrom, the current Admiral of the Sovereign Fleet. The two of them, upon returning from the war, would impose radical changes domestically resulting in more executive oversight by the council at the cost of some authority of the Sovereign, the head of state. They are also said to have been a part of returning the Sovereign throne to the Altari Dynasty, after the “Bloodless Coup”.
Michelle is also the current head of the Mournstar family, a cadet branch of the House Vrittanis , she comes from a long line of arcane practitioners dating back to the early days of Zentrum’s founding. Her pedigree has allowed her to hold influence over much of the political affairs within the kingdom, very little happens without her knowledge or approval. She has one son, Mikhael Mournstar, who is a shrewd politician and arcane wunderkind in his own right.
