Keepers of the Everflame
The Keepers of the Everflame is the largest organized religion in Zentrum. It is dedicated to the Everflame, a powerful deity believed to be the source of all life in the world. It was founded by the first Madresol, a woman known as Ciana I, after reading the works of the great prophet Sidra.

Mythology & Lore
The Everflame is said to be the truest essence of all of creation. It is said to have created the world, and is a part of every one of us.
When the Everflame descended into the Material Plane in the year 3 PoT, she was said to have chosen 7 heroes from the age to be her chosen warriors. 6 of these would go on to be her Divine Saints, in certain sects of halfling culture, it is said that the Overa were among these and that in truth 14 Heroes were chosen. But this remains a topic of theological debate.
It is said of these seventh of these heroes would go on to become a Holy Warrior fully imbued with the powers of the Everflame. This woman Sidra, would be the one responsible for the "Day of White Fire", a historic battle against an army of Nihiloths and demons. Later in life, she would go on to write some of what she saw, as well as some teachings. It her writings were compiled many years later into the Book of Fire, the sacred text of the Keepers of the Everflame.

Tenets of Faith
- The Everflame protects us in her light, keeping fiends aberrations, and creatures of evil away. Those who seek to defend the innocent from evil can draw on the power of the Flame.
- Every mortal soul can find the light. Inspire and guide others to virtuous behavior; force is always last resort.
- Listen to the Madresol; beware of the Abhorrent Lords.
- Those who embrace the powers of the undead have rejected the Everflame's light. They are a blight that must be purged from the world.
Granted Divine Powers
Clerics are not uncommon within the ranks of the Keepers, although a majority of members are not. For not everyone has the fortitude needed to go through the trials of light.
All members of the Flameguard are paladins or clerics, required to take an oath before entering their ranks.
