The Magical Democracy of Koboldia

The land of the elves - a place of magic and freedom (for the light-elves).

"We can't let this war rage any longer." Argued the elf-in-chief, "It's madness!"

"Nonsense," Replied a grand elf, "We've almost defeated the Dwarfs."

"Silence!" Roared the high elf, clearly disgruntled, "Have faith. The great Leader will unite us. We must wait only a while longer."

Structure

The High Elf - the leader of all Koboldia, The Elf-in-Cheif - The second-in-command, The 12 Grand Elves - those trusted elves who can run for High Elf, The regional Head Elves - those elected to help run regions in Koboldia and the Lead Elves - those who are appointed by the Head Elves.

Assets

Rich pure magic deposits are located in Koboldia and they can be sold for 1314.63'O (Oros) per cm2 compared to that of gold which sells at 571.37'O. They are excellent fletchers as well as skilled fisher people as well as amazing Hexequine rangers.

History

Founded in 3472UMY Koboldia separated from Tsvargan as their technology was considered unworthy to the elves. At 4526UMY Orckos was removed from Koboldia as orcs, banshees and dragons had started gathering there.

Demography and Population

Those who live in the main island are generally light elves whilst those who live in the island to the south are normally dark elves. The great rift which is usually considered part of Koboldia is where most dwarf-elves live. The average birth rate is 9 per 1000 people per year and the death rate is 7.

Military

The Elven army of Koboldia is split into 3 divisions. They are archery, cavalry, and magic. The archers are trained and skilled with a bow whilst the knights on horseback are very adept at their practice. Their hexequines are also trained and excellent in combat. The magi are the most powerful and useful division. They must have at least achieved their master level magic rank. Sub-divisions include crossbowmen and knights on cloudbirds whilst the magi are split into wand users, staff wielders and wand-free magic.

Technological Level

Koboldia is technologically mediocre bordering on low level as they deem it unworthy of pure magic.

Foreign Relations

Between 3706 and 6173UMY the elves were at war with Tsvergan and their relation with Orckos is not great.

Agriculture & Industry

Elves are excellent farmers and use their magic to influence the growth of their crops. Magic mining is also a part of the industry in Koboldia.

Trade & Transport

Elves can teleport by uttering the word "Fershfindia" however this spell is restricted to adept level elves and therefore hexequines and carts are often used whilst thunderbirds can be used for transporting a lot of items for long distances.

Education

Elves aren't required to go to school however most do learn magic. As elves progress, they achieve higher status. Theses are the ranks:
  • Untrained - 2.4%
  • Novice - 12.6%
  • Apprentice - 42.1%
  • Adept - 30.9%
  • Master - 11.8%
  • Grandmaster - 0.2%

Infrastructure

All of Koboldia is connected with infrastructure getting denser as you approach the capital - Mágicia.
