Magically altered negative energy manipulation in the area around them is the heart of their powers. Using it for teleportation, and limited flight, as well as a variety of attacks and protective auras. Snaring opponents, healing themselves off the lives of others, and altering the space around themselves for protection are just a few things they've learned.

Personal history
Little is known about Vistrai's history before they arrived on Earth, they'd merged before arriving and refer to their two halves as 'a past that doesn't want to be remembered.' Their host isn't human, and their name is unknown. Though people have managed to learn a name their Nictus half was known by: Specter, and they are willing to share that it was altered from a Kheldian with magic rather than science. Explaining this is why it's colors are a strange mix of pale and black.
