A planet burns
The Stenza invade, finding and enslaving the planet's top minds by holding their families hostage. The scientists are forced to design new weapons of war, including killer bandages and flesh-eating bacteria. In their efforts to destroy this work before it can be used, they are found out, and the Stenza move to wipe them out completely. The planet burns, leaving a desert husk with toxic air and toxic water in its wake.
