Bobbin
A Stenza bobbin is a long bone or wooden shaft on which two or three skeins of thread can be wound for easy storage. Each skein can be wound onto a stick shuttle for the purposes of weaving, and so it is common for looms to have attachments for bobbins to keep them within easy reach.
Manufacturing process
The ideal item to work into a bobbin is a long, straight (or mostly straight) bone such as a femur or equivalent, or a similarly-shaped stick. The bone or stick then has the excess carved off (including strange lumps if they exist) and sanded smooth. The smooth stick of wood or bone is now ready to serve as a bobbin.

Anyone looking to craft a bobbin may need their personal knife on hand (and it certainly wouldn't hurt). One almost surely needs sand (or an equivalent) in order to smooth the stick.
Bobbins! <3 I think I'd much prefer mine to be made of bone than wood.
