Expeditions of the Inca Empire, which lead to the discovery of Mu

After securing access to the coast, the Sapa Inca Tupac Inca Yupanqui ordered the construction of a great fleet to explore the western ocean. In 1475 they set sail and successfully discovered the continent of Mu, landing on the mainland of Magellania.   After the success, three other expeditions were carried out, the last one was send underway in 1522 and never returned. Due to a devastating epidemic and the death of the reigning Sapa Inca, the Empire was plunged into a Civil War and was ultimately conquered by the Spanish.
