The Cave of Jasper

The Cave of Jasper is said to hold magical treasures of the heart.  Located along the south shore of the Drakaina Sea, it is extremely difficult to traverse as it can only be entered when the tide is at its lowest ebb. At all other times, the cave is cut off from everything since it sits on a small outcropping of rocky shore.  Boats cannot even reach it due to the swirling current surrounding the outcropping.   If you are of pure heart and spirit, and brave enough to venture inside, the treasure will be revealed to you.  Should you be worthy enough to view the dazzling treasure of every rich shade of red - rare gemstones such as garnet and ruby, red jasper, dragon blood jasper and red diamonds - you will soon find your true love and live an abundant life.  The glow of the treasure bathes the worthy in serenity and self-confidence while cleansing the blood of all impurities.  The purity of blood, heart, and mind is what allows true love to be found. Those who have experienced The Cleansing claim a feeling of rebirth and peace they will do nothing to abate.   Beware! Entering the Cave of Jasper with unclean purposes will result in maladies of all kinds.  Removing a single stone from the cave causes hardness of heart, evil to enter the soul, and emotional upheaval for the remainder of days. Those who have removed stones from the cave have claimed to hear a voice continually imploring them to "return the child" to its mother.  Often the thief is driven so mad that speech and thought are rendered impossible; the voice is so heavy and sad that the thief sobs uncontrollably for all days leading up to the return of the stone.  If the stone is not placed in the exact spot from which it was removed, the voice continues in the head of the thief until all is made right.
