Sorian Gilrieth

Older brother of Aliester Gilrieth and Elyon Gilrieth and original crown prince of House Gilrieth in central Faerun.

Sorian died in his youth during a military training exercise, when another trainee accidentally loosed an arrow that found its way into the young prince's throat.

As a form of memorial, the gifted Dwarven blacksmith Felicior Ironhand imbued a mastercraft rapier with Sorian's soul and sentience. The magical sword, the Memorial Blade, was kept within the palace by the king until House Gilrieth fell upon the appearance of Moander's corpse and the destruction of the valley containing the kingdom.
