F209 - Flagship
The F209 - Flagship is the greatest implement of battle available to the havens of Morzanna. While slow, this powerful behemoth of a vehicle is a tracked fortress, bristling with machine guns and safely carrying haven infantry forces within its armored belly. The vehicle can be finicky to maintain and struggle to get past certain terrain due to its weight and size, but when the Flagship arrives at the battle, it alone can alter its course. The massive vehicle moves on four enormous tracks on two sections of the chassis which are attached by a somewhat flexible central section, lending it the appearance of a gargantuan armored caterpillar when crawling over terrain and bunkers.
The Flagship lacks maneuverability and its maintenance comes at great cost. The machine is so complicated that a technician is trained by the AAC specifically to work on each individual F209 and is hired as a part of the process of purchasing each Flagship. F209s are warfighters first and foremost and are at there best when advancing toward the enemy, despite being a nightmare for logistics and very difficult to maneuver.
Power Generation
The F209 - Flagship uses a top secret, high capacity battery design from old world schematics that is exclusively maintained by top of the line AAC mechanics.
Propulsion
The F209 is an old world prototype design that has been updated by the top engineers at the Absolute Automotive Company and whose complicated design remains shrouded in secrecy. The Flagship uses a powerful old world engine with parts that are not reproduceable by Motorville factories or any other haven in Morzanna. The engine drives the four treads of the Flagship with a level of power that nothing else in modern Morzanna can compare to.
Weapons & Armament
The F209 - Flagship brings monstrous old world armament to the modern battlefield. The factory standard armament for the F209 includes eight medium-caliber, coaxial machine guns and either two high-caliber, anti-armor pipe rifles or two high-pressure, liquid flame projectors. The Flagship also includes several armored infantry fighting positions on top of its hull to support snipers, spotters, machine gunners, or a command unit. Rare examples of the Flagship include a rotating turret on top of its chassis equipped with a 70 mm cannon.
Armor and defense
The F209 - Flagship is the be all end all for motorized armor, the vehicle's thick armor is all but impenetrable to every weapon and anti-armor system on Morzanna. Few examples of Flagships having there armor penetrated exist, and those that do typically involving an old world howitzer or cannon. The Flagship is slow and vulnerable to attack from infantry, relying on its machine guns and infantry compliment to protect it. Flagships are most commonly defeated by boarding actions, leading to lethal hand to hand fighting within the hull.
Communication Tools & Systems
The Flagship is a command and control vehicle as much as it is a war fighter. The F209 can often be identified by its deployable, tall, long range radio system which directs information traffic all across the battlefield. The F209 also comes equipped with colored smoke for use in signaling in radio incompatible environments.
