Encounter with Silverlock

The Madeleine is attacked by the pirate vessel Silverlock, captained by Jeanne Bonningham. The vessels are locked in a bloody engagement which the pirates eventually win through some clever maneuvering. Bonningham seizes the Madeleine and all its cargo, offering a spot on her crew to the Defense Fleet sailors- those who did not take her up on it were given dinghies and enough food to row themselves ashore. Ukazu was killed in this battle, and his first mate Jeremy Wilson was grievously injured.
