Thaer Oak

Thaer Oaks are a large species of tree that grows only in Thaerwood. Thaer Oaks in the wild can grow as tall as 100 metres, but when nurtured by seed singers can grow much larger. The largest known Thaar Oak is about 300 metres tall and 500 metres in diameter. They have thick wooden trunks and sprout branches between one to two thirds up.
When grown by seed singers, Thaer Oaks can grow with hollow trunks. It is common in Greenshade for settlements to be built into the trunks of such trees which have been specially grown for the settlement.
