Mori - The Military District

Just outside of the city is the military district. A massive complex of barracks, warehouses, ammunition depots, cantines, workshops and armories. The large training grounds have fields for practising drill and firing ranges for marksmanship. Even a large mound of dirt that serves as an artillery practice yard. Around the district many soldiers can be seen either rushing off to perform their duties or lounging around the barracks.

Important Buildings and Locations

The Barracks - the living quarters of the soldiers. Rows upon rows of simple wooden structures lined with bunk beds, simple trunks and cabinets. Connected to them are the outhouses and communal bathhouses that have a sophisticated sewer system to remove the waste from this large district and dumps it into a nearby river.

Officers Town - the houses of the officers, their spouses and children are located here. All of a uniform design set in the same pattern it offers a more comfortable live to the officers of the army. Surrounded by a low wooden wall it sets itself apart from the large barracks complex where the common soldiers live.

The Circus - a tent city filled with all sorts of camp followers offering services and entertainment specifically for the military. From laundry to drinks to brothels, you can find almost anything in the Circus.

The Armories - the weapons and ammunition storage are located behind thick concrete walls and heavily guarded. The simple buildings within store vast amounts of muskets, melee weapons, bullets, gunpowder, artillery and all the supplies an army needs. A large stables is located here as well with mules, draft horses and oxen for moving the supplies around. Recently some steam or crystal powered vehicles for transport can be seen here as well.

Mechanus Barracks - the robotic steam-powered giants of the Imperial Army are stored here in tall stone structures where they can serviced by their support personel using a complex system of lifts, pulleys and cranes. The living quarters of the pilots and crews can be found here as well.

Aeronaut Field - a recent addition is a barren field used by the ornithopters of the Aeronauts and a tower for loading and unloading supplies on their dirigibles. The buildings are a chaotic mismatch of workshops, houses, warehouses and command buildings.
